This is Margot. She is five and a half years old. She is a Ragdoll from Doncaster and I have had her since she was 18 months old. Here are some Margot facts:

• She was a teen mom before I got her and now she does not like any other cats but she loves all humans

• She has a purr like a jet engine. When I come home from work she jumps on the bed and does the worm, meowing loudly until I fuss her

• If you are doing anything remotely interesting – trying to have a Zoom call, play a video game, watch a film – she will come and stand directly in front of the screen

• She talks constantly, loudly

• Margot absolutely hates getting wet. If you even drip a little bit of water on her from wet hands she will react like Margaret Hamilton in The Wizard of Oz

• I went through a period of repeatedly not being able to find the small knitted Pingu I keep on my desk. Turns out she kept stealing it and putting it in her bed

• Her favourite place to sleep is the bathroom floor. No one knows why

• She snores. Lol

• She thinks every can opening is for her even when you explain it’s just chickpeas

• She loves to play fetch with all her toys but especially small crafting pompoms

• She is the most beautiful girl in the entire world
